Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI)

The PRI is an investor initiative in partnership with UNEP Finance Initiative and UN Global Compact, it defines responsible investment as a strategy and practice to incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in investment decisions and active ownership.

As a designer the challenge is to make complex financial concepts and sometimes long reports into accessible, eye catching communications. The PRI hosts the PRI in person conference, which is the largest event about sustainable development in the world; for which I collaborated designing communications and collateral.

Vietnam Trade Portal

The International Trade Centre is developing a trade portal to help SME’s in Vietnam approach international trade. I designed the logo and brand guidelines.

I took inspiration on Chim-Lac, Vietnam’s imaginary bird; it’s legend and folklore. The unfolding circle and Chim-Lac represent the dynamism of trade. The colours evoke to sustainable development which is one of the main objectives of this trade initiative.

I designed the brand guidelines which specify the usage of the logo, this are some slides of a longer document.

International Trade Centre (ITC)

ITC Is the joint agency of the World Trade Organisation and the United Nations. It is the only multilateral agency fully dedicated to supporting the internationalisation of SMEs. Its joint mandate combines a focus on expanding trade opportunities with the aim of fostering sustainable development. I’ve collaborated with them in several projects, helping out to transform complex trade guidelines into accessible, user friendly documents.

The Hyperconnected Economy

This series of videos and publications from The Economist Intelligence Unit explores the possibilities and impacts of hyper-connectivity, which is a term that describes a defining feature of contemporary society. Thanks to the Internet, mobile technology and soon the Internet of things, people, places, organisations and objects are linked together like never before. I collaborated with a motion graphics designer to put together this series of animated infographics.

Global Crisis of Depression

Depression is one of the biggest health challenges the world faces. More than 350 million people worldwide suffer from depression. The Economist Events’ conference, brought together key global opinion leaders from across these groups to give an insight into the global challenge of depression. The visual represents the spread of mental health issues across society.

Artic Summit
This event focused on the new economic horizons and opportunities for development that lay in the Arctic, which is represented in the visual.

World Water Summit
The event explored the serious water challenges the world faces, which are intertwined and sometimes are the crux of politics, global issues, growth and finance. The visual represents the time pressure to take action.

European Energy Summit
The neon lights on the artwork evoke the importance of a reliable source of energy for European countries. The plug represents the interdependency and potential threats.

Let’s get Europe working
The event brought together some of the most forward-looking business leaders to discuss changing dynamics within the workforce—marked by shifting demographics, technological advances and a widening skills gap. The visual focuses on the workforce representation.

Coalition for Inclusive Capitalism (In-Cap)

In-Cap is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the Inclusive Capitalism movement which engage leaders across business, government, and civil sectors and encourage them to practice and invest in ways that extend the opportunities and benefits of our economic system to everyone. I supported designing conference deliverables, and a post event report.

Edwardian Hotels

Edwardian Hotels London is one of the UK’s largest leading luxury hotel and hospitality brands, it owns and operates Radisson Blu Edwardian, London Hotels, The May Fair Hotel and a fast-growing range of distinctive restaurants, bar brands and spas.

I collaborated with the marketing team to deliver high quality print and online material to support a wide range of campaigns across their various brands.

Afghanistan trade portal

The International Trade Center (ITC) is supporting Afghan SMEs to approach the international trade. An online trade platform is being designed, for which I collaborated by creating a logo and and promotional material.

The logo represents the dynamism of trade and the connectivity between parts and movement of goods. The volumetric and solid trace reinforces the strength and reliability of the online portal.
